Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor oversees all security operations at Yas Plaza Hotels, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and property across the hotel’s public areas, guest floors, parking, and back‑of‑house zones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise a team of security officers and guards, scheduling shifts to maintain 24/7 coverage.
• Monitor CCTV, fire panels, emergency and panic alarms, and respond promptly to any suspicious activity or incident.
• Conduct regular patrols of all hotel premises and provide a visible presence to deter threats.
• Investigate, document and report security‑related incidents, accidents and guest complaints.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments and external law‑enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Enforce access‑control measures and identify potential security risks, implementing preventive strategies.

Required profile

• Degree or professional certification in a security‑related field.
• Minimum 3 years of security experience in a 4‑5 star hotel or residential community, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role or equivalent law‑enforcement/military experience.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under stressful situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCTV systems and alarm panels (fire, emergency, panic).
• Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting, crowd control and traffic control.
• Knowledge of local security laws and regulations.
