Senior Accountant – Brokerage Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with solid experience in brokerage, trading or fintech environments to join our fast‑growing Dubai team. This role sits at the heart of our financial operations, handling multi‑currency reconciliations, payment flows, liquidity settlements and client money movements in a high‑volume brokerage setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, PSPs, client balances, liquidity providers and internal ledgers.
• Monitor and reconcile high‑volume multi‑currency payment flows across various providers and jurisdictions.
• Track settlements with liquidity providers, institutional counterparties and payment providers.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across all accounting systems.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports and audit documentation.
• Support regulatory, compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Participate in the implementation and optimisation of accounting systems and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with management to improve financial controls, reporting structures and operational efficiency.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate breaks and proactively resolve reconciliation issues.
• Assist in cash‑flow monitoring and treasury‑related operations.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of accounting or finance operations experience.
• Previous experience in a brokerage, forex/CFD firm, trading company, fintech, EMI, PSP or similar financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, settlements and multi‑currency accounting.
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
