Senior Accountant – Full Time

About the role

HelpXpat Relocations is seeking a senior, hands‑on accountant to lead finance operations for its UAE and KSA entities. The role requires a CPA‑qualified professional with deep knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and corporate tax, ensuring flawless invoicing, reporting, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure zero‑error invoicing, revenue recognition, and job costing.
• Oversee UAE VAT filings, audits, and Federal Tax Authority compliance.
• Handle UAE corporate tax calculations, submissions, and documentation.
• Maintain clean balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash‑flow reporting.
• Optimize and manage Zoho Books / Zoho Finance for UAE and KSA entities.
• Implement strong internal controls, SOPs, and audit‑ready processes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Support leadership with financial analysis and decision‑making.

Required profile

• CPA qualification (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong UAE exposure.
• Proven expertise in UAE VAT and corporate tax.
• Experience handling multi‑entity and cross‑border accounts (UAE & KSA).
