Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering accurate accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance while supporting overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including bookkeeping, journal entries, receipts and payments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial and sales reports.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Perform bank, AP and AR reconciliations.
• Support cash‑flow management, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Conduct debtor ageing analysis and maintain vendor records.
• Ensure VAT and tax compliance, including computations and reporting.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support internal and external audits and keep audit‑ready documentation.
• Liaise with banks, clients and other stakeholders as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• ACCA or CA qualification (mandatory).
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with India GST and UAE VAT.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT and taxation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ZOHO accounting software.
