Senior Accountant

About the role

Dietsmann is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the accounting of its African entities. You will ensure compliance with local standards, covering accounting, tax, payroll and related social matters while collaborating closely with subsidiary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record and file accounting documents in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare and post sales invoices for operational projects.
• Execute monthly closing accruals and reconciliations (payroll, sales, etc.).
• Monitor, analyse and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
• Handle intercompany rebillings, offsetting and payments.
• Review and integrate system interfaces into the accounting platform.
• Contribute to audit file preparation.
• Conduct monthly cost‑accounting reviews, analyse project variances and provide explanations.
• Participate in administrative projects such as new IT‑tool roll‑outs and strengthening internal controls.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm or international company.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong team spirit, communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
