Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join Modular Accent’s finance team in Dubai, overseeing the full accounting cycle for a fast‑growing modular construction business. This full‑time, on‑site position supports strategic decision‑making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, month‑end and year‑end closings, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare, review and present financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, support budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking for construction projects.
• Coordinate audit processes and enhance internal controls and reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in construction, modular building or project‑based industries.
• Strong analytical mindset, high integrity and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• General ledger management and financial reporting.
• Account reconciliation and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax/regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems and advanced Excel.
