Senior Accountant - Multi-Branch Corporate Accounting

About the role

An experienced, dynamic Senior Accountant is sought to lead corporate accounting, team management and financial operations across several profit centers. The role covers a central finance team and independent branch accounts, and requires deep GCC financial experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee, consolidate and manage the financial and accounting operations of 3 independent branches or profit centers.
• Supervise, mentor and manage a finance team of 5 to 6 members.
• Direct day-to-day corporate accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and cash flow optimization.
• Maintain, audit and streamline financial records using Tally and Zoho Books / Zoho Finance Suite.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and GCC corporate tax laws.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, perform variance analysis and give strategic financial insights to executive management.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree (M.Com, MBA in Finance) or higher professional accounting qualification.
• 10 to 15 years of corporate accounting and financial management experience, including mandatory GCC experience.
• Strictly under 40 years of age.
• Proven track record managing multi-location profit centers and leading mid-sized accounting teams.
