Senior Accounting & Audit Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting & Audit Specialist to support a customer project that trains and evaluates next‑generation AI systems. The role is remote and contract‑based, offering $58–$110 per hour. You will apply your accounting expertise to review financial materials, assess audit procedures, and help build high‑quality datasets for AI training.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate financial reports and statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assess audit procedures, identify gaps, best practices, risks and regulatory considerations.
• Create and evaluate financial models, ensuring logical structure and actionable outputs.
• Review tax compliance documentation and flag potential risks.
• Analyze legal and financial documents for clarity, correctness and regulatory alignment.
• Provide clear written and verbal feedback on project materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the engagement.
• Support the development and evaluation of AI training datasets using accounting expertise.

Required profile

• 5+ years of corporate‑level accounting experience with complex financial scenarios.
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting and accounting analysis.
• Solid understanding of audit procedures and regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and related documentation.
• Ability to review and analyze legal and financial documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
