Senior Accounting Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Officer to join Almarai’s finance team. In this position you will work closely with the Divisional Finance Manager and the Accounting Manager to ensure that all financial and management accounting information is accurate, complete and delivered on schedule. You will be part of a dynamic multinational team supporting the company’s aggressive expansion and growth plans across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and compile financial data from various sources across the division.
• Prepare management accounting reports and ensure they are circulated before established deadlines.
• Assist the Finance and Accounting Managers in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of internal and external financial statements and analyses.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Liaise with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
