About the role
We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our client’s team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in native Android development, modern Android architecture, and a background in banking, FinTech, payments or other financial‑services applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high‑quality native Android applications.
- Build scalable, secure and high‑performance mobile solutions.
- Develop modern Android interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
- Participate in architecture, technical design and development decisions.
- Handle the full development lifecycle: development, testing, release and production support.
- Troubleshoot issues and improve performance, stability and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA and UI/UX teams.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers where required.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience in at least one financial domain such as Banking, Digital Banking, FinTech, Payments, Digital Wallets, Payment Gateways, UPI/QR Payments, POS terminals or Insurance.
- Experience with KYC, OTP, biometric authentication, secure transactions or payment SDK integrations is a strong advantage.
