Senior Application Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

The Senior Application Engineer – Mechanical will lead the management of technical documentation, product customization and certification activities for HVAC solutions. You will coordinate work orders, guide a multidisciplinary team and ensure that customer requirements are met through efficient engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and organise work processes, including catalogues, IOM, technical data, BOM and specification sheets.
• Approve contract review forms, work orders, modification requests and item code creation.
• Prepare and evaluate selection software, maintain supplier software performance data and improve SKM design tools.
• Develop technical data sheets, design guidelines, internal policies and technical bulletins.
• Support sales and after‑sales teams with technical presentations, training and on‑site troubleshooting.
• Process work orders, estimate BOMs, generate GA drawings and perform value‑engineering to optimise project profitability.
• Lead product improvement initiatives, new product development and cost optimisation projects.
• Coordinate product certification activities, prepare documentation and liaise with certifying agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on HVAC application/design experience in an AC manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with HVAC product certification to regional or international standards.
• Strong leadership and team‑guiding abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
