Senior Architect (Real Estate & Property Development)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design reviews, site supervision, material coordination, and fit‑out execution for multiple real‑estate development projects in Sharjah. The role spans the entire project lifecycle, from concept through handover, ensuring compliance with company standards and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design reviews and ensure alignment with technical standards.
• Coordinate consultants and obtain regulatory approvals during design stages.
• Supervise site architects and manage execution of architectural and fit‑out works.
• Oversee material selection, façade systems, and interior detailing.
• Engage with Sharjah authorities (Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defence) for permits and clearances.
• Support tendering activities, including BOQ and specification review and subcontractor evaluation.
• Ensure quality control, mock‑up validation, and adherence to IFC drawings during construction.
• Manage handover documentation, authority approvals, and DLP rectifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior architectural coordination and site roles.
• Strong UAE experience with local authorities and construction practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and drive quality assurance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM/Revit.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite competence.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements.
