Senior Associate Data Solutions Engineering

About the role

Mubadala is seeking a Senior Associate to design and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions that support business outcomes across its global investment portfolio. You will work on the enterprise data platform, Snowflake, integration services and business intelligence products, ensuring data is reliable, secure and ready for analytics and AI use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end data solutions, translating business needs into target‑state data flows, mappings, transformation rules and interface contracts.
• Design, build and test production‑ready ETL/ELT pipelines and reusable data services in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Monitor pipeline performance, latency and cost, and drive optimisation and remediation.
• Implement automated deployment, version control, environment promotion and rollback procedures.
• Own the data‑readiness layer for dashboards, executive reporting and AI, partnering with business teams to define KPIs and validation criteria.
• Embed data‑quality checks, reconciliation controls and exception reporting into pipelines.
• Apply role‑based security, encryption and compliance with UAE data‑privacy regulations and GDPR.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering large‑scale data solutions.
• Strong background in cloud and hybrid data platforms, ETL/ELT development, and API‑driven integrations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into signed‑off specifications and controlled revisions.
• Experience working with governance teams to align data products with enterprise glossaries and privacy standards.
