Senior Attorney - Building Automation

About the role

Honeywell is hiring a Senior Attorney for its Building Automation business, serving as legal advisor to the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region. The role reports directly to the General Counsel of Building Automation for the region and works out of the Dubai office on a hybrid schedule aligned with the direct manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
• Review, draft and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support the management of external legal counsel and legal projects.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience practicing law, with a strong background in corporate and commercial legal matters.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken Arabic.
• Proven ability to review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations relevant to the business.
• Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm setting.
• Licensed to practice as an advocate, attorney or solicitor in at least one jurisdiction.
