Senior Audit Associate - IGH Audits (Dubai)

About the role

KPMG is hiring an Audit Senior Associate specializing in IGH audits for its FY25 hiring session, based in Dubai. The position starts on 1 October 2024, with interviews beginning in June 2024. The role reports to a supervisor and sits at hierarchical level E3.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct comprehensive audits in the infrastructure, governance, healthcare, real estate, construction, oil and gas sectors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Assist in planning, executing and finalizing IGH audit assignments for Manager/Partner review.
• Produce work for review, highlight issues and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables, including attending meetings.
• Conduct strategic analysis and identify business and audit risks in the IGH sector.
• Assess the effectiveness of client processes and controls.
• Perform higher-risk and nonroutine audit functions.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure the Audit Manual, auditing standards and industry standards are applied correctly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or completed A levels or equivalent.
• ACCA: minimum 9 papers (F1-F9) completed; CPA: completion of 2 papers; ICACW: completion of the Professional Stage.
• 2+ years of postgraduate experience, including recent IGH audit experience.
• Fluent English and Arabic.
