Senior Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion while providing valuable insights to enhance client systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of firm policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Plan, execute, document and review all phases of audit engagements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain information and coordinate audit activities.
• Participate in audit planning meetings and perform analytical procedures.
• Assist Audit Managers in reviewing engagement files for quality, accuracy and compliance.
• Provide practical recommendations to improve client systems and operational efficiency.
• Train, mentor and review the work of junior auditors.
• Maintain accurate time‑booking and engagement records.
• Attend professional training sessions and relevant industry meetings.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional audit or accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures, accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple client engagements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
