Senior Automated Storage System Integration Specialist (Remote UAE)

About the role

An experienced Senior Automated Storage System Integration Specialist is sought to support the integration, optimization and performance monitoring of automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). The role is fully remote, with 100% work-from-home arrangement, and covers remote system analysis, integration planning, technical troubleshooting and coordination with engineering and automation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review integration plans for automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Assess system compatibility with warehouse management and warehouse control software.
• Analyze system performance data and identify integration issues.
• Coordinate remotely with automation engineers, software developers and equipment vendors.
• Review technical specifications, system configurations and integration documentation.
• Recommend improvements to system reliability, throughput and operational efficiency.
• Support remote testing, commissioning documentation and issue resolution.
• Ensure integration activities align with applicable technical and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse automation, system integration or industrial engineering.
• Strong understanding of AS/RS, warehouse management systems (WMS) and warehouse control systems (WCS).
• Experience with system interfaces, technical documentation and integration testing.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and project coordination skills, with strong written communication and remote collaboration abilities.
