Senior Backend Developer – .NET (L3)

About the role

Edenred is seeking a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join its multidisciplinary squad in the UAE. You will work closely with product, data and design teammates to design, build and experiment with innovative payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using C# and .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with the squad to design experiments and make data‑driven decisions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Mentor other developers and drive best‑practice adoption across the tech organization.
• Participate in architectural discussions, especially around microservices, event‑driven architectures and Azure cloud hosting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with C# and .NET (Core.NET 6+), preferably in fintech.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns and coding standards.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures, microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Entity Framework, SQL database design and performance optimization.
