Senior BIM Specialist - Wet Utilities

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Senior BIM Specialist focused on wet utilities to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role covers creating and maintaining 3D BIM models of water, irrigation, stormwater and sewerage networks, and coordinating them with other disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update 3D BIM models for wet utility systems using Civil 3D or other BIM software
• Model potable water, irrigation, stormwater and sewerage networks
• Develop utility structures such as manholes, chambers, valve chambers, tanks and pump stations
• Maintain model accuracy in line with design revisions and generate plans and profiles from the models
• Ensure drawings comply with project CAD and BIM standards
• Take part in multidisciplinary coordination and help identify and resolve clashes with roads, structures, buildings, landscape and dry utilities
• Update models after coordination comments and approved design changes, following the BIM Execution Plan and project standards
• Perform model checks, keep proper naming conventions, folder structures and data management, and prepare model submissions and revision records

Required profile

• Strong understanding of wet utility infrastructure
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills, problem-solving and coordination abilities
• Knowledge of BIM standards and project workflows
