Senior Business Analyst - Digital Transformation

About the role

An experienced Senior Business Analyst is sought to lead business analysis and business process reengineering across complex digital transformation projects in Abu Dhabi. The role works closely with business stakeholders, solution architects and technical teams to define requirements, improve processes and ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives, UAE regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis, from requirements discovery and process assessment through solution validation and implementation support.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
• Gather, analyze and document business, functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assess current-state processes, run gap analyses and design improved future-state workflows; develop process maps, business rules and process models using Visio, ARIS and BPMN.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, SOPs and service cards, and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Collaborate with solution architects and developers to turn requirements into practical solutions, and review designs, test scenarios and delivered functionality.
• Support UAT, defect triage and business validation, and analyze operational data and KPIs to find improvement opportunities.
• Prepare stakeholder presentations and progress reports, support change management and mentor junior business analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of business analysis experience, including senior or lead responsibilities, on large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated experience in business process reengineering, process improvement and digital transformation.
• Arabic speaking ability and professional proficiency in English.
• Preferred: government services or public-sector digital transformation experience, familiarity with UAE government service standards, and certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA or Agile/Scrum.

Required skills

• Requirements elicitation, analysis and management; business process mapping and BPMN modeling.
• Proficiency in Visio, ARIS and Figma; familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation and presentation skills.
