Senior Business Controller - French Speaker

About the role

The Senior Business Controller is responsible for financial oversight, operational planning, and performance management across multiple business lines. Working closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams, the role drives budgeting, forecasting, project profitability and internal controls using SAP S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and financial planning, aligning budgets with strategic objectives and collaborating with operational managers.
• Maintain monthly rolling forecasts, identify variances, risks and performance drivers.
• Drive month‑end closing processes, produce Group, Management and Departmental reporting packages and executive dashboards.
• Partner with commercial teams on contract renewals, pricing and financial negotiations, and identify cost‑saving initiatives.
• Design and maintain internal control frameworks, support audits and automate reporting workflows in SAP S/4HANA.
• Track project and contract profitability, validate re‑forecasted revenue and margins, and manage corrective actions for budget overruns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in business controlling, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving mindset with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO modules).
• Advanced MS Excel skills for financial modeling and data automation.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
