Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will join Bureau Veritas in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Sales Manager UAE – B&I. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the UAE construction market by securing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and QA/QC contracts with developers and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage an established network of UAE developers and consultants to win 2‑3 PMC contracts per year.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities within target consultancy and developer accounts.
• Maintain a visible opportunity pipeline and accurate revenue forecasts.
• Lead pursuit and proposal strategy in collaboration with the Sales Manager, Bid Manager and Proposal Team.
• Manage forecasting and pipeline on Salesforce CRM.
• Work cross‑functionally with Technical and Operations teams to shape competitive offers.
• Support account planning and growth strategy for key accounts.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the UAE market, specifically in PMC and QA/QC contracting.
• Proven track record of closing PMC contracts (2‑3 per year).
• Deep, established network among developers, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Strong commercial mindset with measurable impact on sales.

Required skills

• Salesforce CRM proficiency.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
