Senior Civil/Structural Engineer (Offshore)

About the role

Penspen is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore) based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position is a full-time fixed-term contract within the engineering function, and the closing date is 30 November 2026. The engineer may work in either the Core Engineering Team or a PMT project team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control onshore civil/structural personnel of engineer grade, delegating activities to them
• Work under the supervision of a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer (Offshore) when applicable, carrying out delegated tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• At least 12 years of experience, including 6 years in civil/structural engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical offshore projects
• PMC experience at a similar level for several years is preferable
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory

Required skills

• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco desktop standards and procedures is beneficial
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel
