Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

Scoutraise is looking for a senior cloud engineer to lead the design, migration and management of its multi‑cloud environment and endpoint infrastructure. The role combines technical leadership, architecture ownership and mentorship of engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own cloud and endpoint architecture, roadmap and standards; lead major projects such as cloud migrations and Intune rollouts.
• Design, configure and manage Microsoft Azure resources (subscriptions, VMs, storage, VNets, firewalls, ExpressRoute/VPN) and enforce governance, monitoring and disaster recovery.
• Manage core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53) across multiple accounts, design VPCs, and build hybrid connectivity with Transit Gateway, VPN and Direct Connect.
• Administer Entra ID (RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM) and integrate identity with security controls.
• Manage Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices in Microsoft Intune, including zero‑touch enrollment, compliance policies and integration with Defender for Endpoint.
• Collaborate with security and business leaders on risk, vendor selection and budgeting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years operating Azure and AWS at enterprise scale.
• 3+ years managing Intune for 1,000+ devices, including Autopilot deployments.
• Proven leadership of large projects, mentoring of engineers and presentation to senior stakeholders.
