Senior Construction Engineer - Civil

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Construction Engineer – Civil to lead civil works on an offshore island project for KBR in Abu Dhabi. The role will start in a client‑proposed office and transition to a rotating on‑site schedule (6 weeks on‑site, 3 weeks off‑site) on the island.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all civil construction activities, including site investigation, ground improvement, site preparation and piling.
• Conduct and oversee pile load testing to verify design assumptions.
• Manage interfaces with ADNOC and other stakeholders on artificial island projects.
• Ensure compliance with FEED/EPC specifications for mega‑scale oil‑and‑gas projects exceeding US$1 billion.
• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and monitor progress against schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil‑and‑gas sector, with at least 5 years on ADNOC projects.
• Proven experience on large FEED/EPC contracts (>$1 bn) in a senior civil construction role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience with ADNOC artificial islands is an advantage.
