Senior Construction Manager – High‑Complexity Project in Dubai

About the role

Utopia is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Construction Manager to lead a high‑complexity, high‑end construction project in Dubai. This senior, site‑based role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring delivery according to approved drawings, specifications, programme, budget and quality standards.
• Oversee complex site operations such as excavation, shoring, dewatering, foundations, structural works and associated temporary works.
• Coordinate and supervise main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, specialist trades and site teams.
• Review construction methodologies, sequencing, shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme, identify delays, risks and constraints, and develop recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, HSE requirements and relevant construction standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional construction experience, including senior site or construction management roles.
• Proven hands‑on experience with excavation, shoring, dewatering, foundations, piling and other complex sub‑structure works.
• Significant experience managing large‑scale projects in Dubai/UAE, preferably high‑end hospitality, luxury residential or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Excavation, shoring, dewatering, foundations, piling.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, Aconex.
• Fluent English for communication with international project teams.
