Senior Construction/Installation Engineer – Structures (Jackets & WHTs)

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Construction/Installation Engineer will lead the planning, coordination and execution of offshore structural works, including jackets and wellhead towers, from the contractor’s office to the offshore site on a 6‑week on/3‑week off rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction and offshore installation engineering for jackets, WHTs and related structural components.
• Review and validate installation methodologies, procedures and execution strategies.
• Ensure constructability is addressed during engineering and fabrication stages.
• Prepare offshore installation work packs and detailed execution plans.
• Provide engineering support during offshore installation campaigns and monitor performance against schedule.
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, marine operations, subcontractors and client representatives.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in offshore construction and installation.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and act as the main technical interface.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and international offshore standards.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and rotate to offshore locations.
