About the role
We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a growing fintech/payment platform. The role is hands‑on, focusing on security engineering rather than traditional SOC monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Support and secure a PCI DSS environment for payment platforms.
- Protect endpoint, email, network, cloud and web‑facing systems.
- Own and manage security tools, infrastructure security, incidents and technical controls.
Required profile
- Currently based in Dubai, UAE or Limassol, Cyprus and comfortable working onsite.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- 7+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity/security engineering experience with a broad IT and security operations background.
- Strong incident response experience from triage through post‑incident review.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Benchmarks.
Required skills
- Experience with SIEM/XDR, EDR, email security, DLP, SASE/VPN, WAF, DDoS and API security tools.
- Experience managing MDR/managed SOC providers, including escalations and SLAs.
