Senior Cyber Security Specialist – CyberSOC

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our Cyber Security Operations Center (CyberSOC). You will provide 24/7 monitoring, incident response and threat detection for our global telecom and cybersecurity customers, acting as a technical expert in analysing and mitigating cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 CyberSOC support, monitor alerts and respond to incidents across multiple detection platforms.
• Investigate, classify and remediate security events, assessing impact and recommending actions.
• Detect anomalies and attack patterns, conduct tool‑based and manual threat hunting, especially for zero‑day and emerging threats.
• Plan, configure, implement and support SIEM, endpoint, vulnerability, DDoS protection and SOAR solutions.
• Design and fine‑tune SIEM use cases, correlation rules and dashboards.
• Perform detailed malware, phishing and email security analysis and vulnerability scanning.
• Develop security reports, dashboards and incident summaries for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously improve incident response playbooks, procedures and compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hours incident response.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SC‑200 or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 4 + years of experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in a CyberSOC or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
