Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike & Zscaler

About the role

A full-time, onsite Senior Cybersecurity Engineer position in Abu Dhabi, UAE, working at the client's office. The role provides hands-on cybersecurity engineering, administration, monitoring and operational support across enterprise security environments. The initial contract is 12 months and is extendable.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Microsoft security stack, including Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Administer and support CrowdStrike Falcon for endpoint detection and response, threat detection, investigation and remediation.
• Manage and support Zscaler solutions covering secure access, network security and cloud-based security controls.
• Perform security incident investigation, analysis, containment, remediation and recovery.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activity and respond to threats across identity, endpoint, cloud and network environments.
• Support security operations, including threat detection, incident response, security monitoring and continuous improvement of security controls.
• Collaborate with the client's internal security team to strengthen the organisation's security posture.
• Troubleshoot security issues, optimise security tools and ensure effective integration of security technologies.
• Maintain security documentation, incident reports, operational procedures and remediation records.

Required profile

• Senior-level experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations and incident response with strong hands-on technical capability.
• Proven experience administering the Microsoft security stack, especially Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon and practical experience with Zscaler.
• Solid experience in security incident response and strong understanding of endpoint, identity, cloud, network and security monitoring.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents; experience in enterprise security teams or SOC environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Security, CISSP, CISM or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
