Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer you will shape the data backbone that powers a high‑scale technology platform and enables smarter business decisions. You will architect scalable data warehouses, build reliable pipelines, and ensure data remains accurate, accessible, and performant in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high‑performance data warehouse solutions on cloud platforms such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery or Databricks.
• Develop reliable ELT pipelines and orchestrate them with tools like Airflow or Prefect, applying best practices for data quality and testing.
• Optimize warehouse performance through query tuning, partitioning, indexing and cost‑efficiency measures.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and software engineers to deliver clean, well‑structured data for analytics and machine‑learning initiatives.
• Contribute to developer‑facing data tools and promote engineering standards such as version control, code reviews and automation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing, implementing and optimizing data warehouses in cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Strong hands‑on expertise with data modeling and transformation tools, especially dbt and SQL.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership and make decisions in ambiguous, fast‑moving settings.
• Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
