Senior Developer Endur - Senior Associate, Energy and Commodities

About the role
Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Developer (Endur) in Dubai to provide Level 2 functional and technical support for Endur applications, keeping energy and commodities trading operations stable and running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and Logistics functions
- Monitor Endur performance, end-of-day processing, P&L calculations and system health
- Run SQL queries, analyse logs and investigate root causes
- Manage incidents, service requests and production issues according to SLAs and ITIL processes
- Analyse recurring incidents and work with development teams on permanent fixes
- Support configuration changes, system enhancements and integration troubleshooting
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, support UAT, regression testing and release validation
- Maintain SOPs, technical documentation and knowledge articles, and work with L3 support, development and infrastructure teams
- Identify automation and performance improvements, ensure adherence to operational controls and risk requirements
Required profile
- Hands-on Endur (OpenLink) support experience in energy and commodities trading
- Strong understanding of the commodity trading lifecycle (Front, Middle and Back Office)
- L2 production support, incident management and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with End-of-Day processing, P&L validation and trading operations
- Working knowledge of ITIL incident, problem and change management
- Ability to mentor junior team members and work in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Required skills
- Strong SQL, database analysis and log investigation
- Endur configuration, workflows, scripting and integrations
- Exposure to OpenJVS, OpenComponents or Endur customisation frameworks
- Knowledge of Python, Java or other languages used for enhancements and automation
- Agile delivery teams and support management tools
- Data analytics, reporting or visualisation tools
