Senior Director & Team Head, Priority Banking

About the role

As Senior Director & Team Head of Priority Banking at Standard Chartered, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers to drive sales, acquire new high‑net‑worth customers and grow the portfolio in the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive unit performance against sales volume, new customer acquisition and portfolio growth targets.
• Manage and develop a team of 13‑15 Relationship Managers, ensuring hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Lead the International Banking agenda in collaboration with the Group Affluent Team.
• Oversee cross‑sell targets, marketing promotions and acquisition channel development.
• Provide intelligence reports on competitor offerings and recommend product enhancements.
• Maintain operational integrity, risk compliance and financial performance of the unit.

Required profile

• University graduate with extensive sales and relationship‑management experience in banking.
• Proven ability to manage people, drive results and influence outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of UAE business environment and contacts within the local HNI community.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.

Required skills

• Experience handling banking and investment products.
• Ability to plan sales, manage risk and conduct performance analysis.
