Senior Electrical Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, coordination and delivery of electrical systems for complex building and infrastructure projects in the Middle East. The role operates within a multidisciplinary, BIM‑enabled environment and requires strong technical expertise and hands‑on design capability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards and authority requirements.
• Support project delivery through technical reviews and on‑site coordination.
• Leverage digital tools, automation and BIM workflows to improve design efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design and delivery.
• Proven experience on Middle‑East projects.
• Track record of delivering high‑quality electrical designs on complex projects.

Required skills

• LV power system modelling (Amtech or similar).
• Lighting design tools – Dialux, Relux.
• Lightning protection system tools – StrikeRisk or equivalent.
• Generator sizing expertise.
• BIM tools – Revit, Navisworks.
