About the role
CORE Emirates, a specialist data centre consultancy and commissioning partner within the GCV Group, is looking for an experienced Senior ELV Engineer to join its team on data centre projects across the UAE. The role covers commissioning of mission-critical systems, from L2 to L5, and is advertised as part-time.
Key responsibilities
- L2: verify installation readiness and review checklists, ITPs and method statements
- L3: plan and witness individual equipment commissioning, checking operation, settings and controls
- L4: coordinate and witness functional testing against design intent and sequences of operation
- L5: support integrated systems testing, resilience and recovery validation, and client demonstrations
- Coordinate with stakeholders, maintain technical documentation and recommend acceptance or rejection of test results
Required profile
- 8-10 years of commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities
- Proven data centre or critical infrastructure experience (essential)
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills
