Senior Engineer – Building Structures

About the role

Sener is seeking a Senior Engineer – Building Structures to lead the design and delivery of complex rail and metro infrastructure projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Landbridge Program. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration and ensures technical excellence across stations, depots, bridges and related structures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs for rail & metro infrastructure, including stations, depots, operational buildings, bridges and associated structures.
• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, composite and other systems, and prepare calculations, design reports, specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, geotechnical, MEP, rail systems and project management teams to ensure compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, constructability assessments and support interface management across disciplines.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering design experience, with at least 5 years on rail and metro infrastructure projects.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (advantageous) and professional accreditation such as PE or CEng (desirable).
• Proven experience designing transportation‑related structures and strong knowledge of international codes (Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, BS Standards).
