Senior Engineer Construction – Piping

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Engineer – Construction (Piping) to lead on‑site piping installation for a major PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures technical compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on‑site piping installation activities.
• Verify that all work complies with design drawings, ASME/API specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain project timelines.
• Review and approve 3D modeling outputs, including SP3D models.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve construction‑related issues.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years on mega oil and gas processing projects.
• At least 10 years of piping construction experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas environments.
• Strong knowledge of piping specifications, ASME and API standards.
• Experience with 3D modeling review tools such as SP3D.
• Prior experience with ADNOC projects is an advantage.
