Senior Engineer - Projects QA/QC

About the role

ADNOC, a diversified energy group founded in 1971 and wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, is hiring a Senior Engineer for Projects QA/QC in Abu Dhabi. The role provides expertise for developing and implementing quality management requirements on assigned projects, ensuring project quality systems meet ISO 9000 series requirements and company policies so that engineering, materials, equipment and construction are compliant, technically sound and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Develop quality-specific requirements for contractors and PMCs during design, development, construction and commissioning, and review their QA/QC plans, inspection and testing procedures.
• Monitor QA/QC implementation across project phases and take preventive action; participate in vendor and field inspection strategy and TPI agency selection.
• Handle technical and compliance audits, arrange interviews and site visits, and assess contractor audit programmes independently.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate activities in the assigned area, train staff and contribute to department budgets and performance objectives.
• Implement approved policies, standards and procedures, comply with legislation, and design tools to improve process quality and efficiency.
• Follow HSE policies and sustainability guidelines, and provide inputs to section MIS and progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• 6 years of experience, including experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
