Senior Estimating Engineer – EPC Projects

About the role

INPROSERV is seeking a senior estimating engineer to lead cost estimation and tender preparation for EPC projects across mechanical, civil, structural and instrumentation disciplines in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs and specifications to develop accurate quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, prepare procurement cost comparisons and maintain market pricing databases.
• Assess technical and commercial risks, contract conditions and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Prepare detailed pricing schedules, technical/commercial proposals and support client clarifications, negotiations and project hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 7‑10 years of EPC estimation and tendering experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power or Water Treatment projects in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to work under tight tender deadlines.

Required skills

• Quantity take‑off and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD and 3D modelling software.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, ACI, IEC, ISA and BS standards.
