Senior Executive – Data Analytics (BI Developer)

About the role

Here’s your chance to step into the role of Senior Executive, Data & Analytics – BI Developer for Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this role you will develop scalable business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into meaningful insights and support informed decision‑making. You will work collaboratively with data engineering teams and business stakeholders to create high‑quality reporting products, strengthen data integration and maintain trusted, secure information.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable business insights.
• Build scalable semantic models, datasets and dataflows within Power BI, including advanced DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
• Create and support ETL/ELT processes, write and optimise SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Develop business solutions using Power Apps and automate workflows with Power Automate.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions.
• Maintain high standards of data governance, security, integrity and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• At least seven years of experience in business intelligence and analytics, with a minimum of five years hands‑on with Power BI.
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, data modelling and SQL.
• Practical experience using Power Apps and Power Automate to develop solutions and streamline processes.
• Sound knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks or Azure Data Lake is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python or R, and AI/ML concepts, is a plus.
