Senior Executive – Data & Analytics (Power BI)

About the role

Step into a senior position driving data‑centric decision‑making for Dubai Holding Entertainment. You will design scalable business intelligence solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights.
• Build scalable semantic models, datasets and dataflows within Power BI, including advanced DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
• Create and support ETL/ELT processes, write and optimise SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Develop business solutions with Power Apps and automate workflows using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Ensure data governance, security, integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimise performance of dashboards, reports and datasets.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years of experience in business intelligence and analytics, with at least five years hands‑on Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to translate business needs into reliable analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to work with both technical and non‑technical teams.

Required skills

• Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling)
• SQL (queries, views, stored procedures)
• Power Apps and Power Automate
• ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, dimensional modelling
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Lake (advantageous)
• Python or R for analytics/automation (beneficial)
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts in BI environments (advantageous)
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Fabric, Azure, Power Platform) – highly regarded
