Senior Field Engineer

About the role

The Senior Field Engineer will lead mobilisation, coordinate multidisciplinary activities and ensure smooth execution of offshore construction projects. The role involves close interaction with clients, subcontractors and internal engineering teams to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and execute mobilisation plans, compile project documentation and issue work packages.
• Control material flow, expedite supplies and oversee specialised field activities.
• Allocate daily tasks to foremen, monitor progress and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, field engineer reports and ‘as‑built’ mark‑ups for engineering.
• Coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors and internal departments to resolve issues and maintain project timetable.
• Participate in site certification, lessons‑learned documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering with at least 5 years of offshore construction experience.
• Strong English communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Proven ability to train and supervise junior engineers.
• Willingness to work both onshore and offshore and manage personnel and equipment resources.
