Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to oversee daily financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The role requires strong analytical abilities and a solid background in real‑estate development finance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity and ensure financial obligations are met.
• Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
• Oversee daily accounting activities, including bookkeeping, transaction processing, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Handle escrow accounting and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and support annual financial statement preparation.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and service providers.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, reduce costs, and support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is an advantage.
• Prior experience in the real‑estate development sector.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling.
• Strong experience with accounting systems; SAP Business One is a plus.
