Senior Finishing Foreman

About the role

An experienced Senior Finishing Foreman is sought to lead and supervise all finishing activities on large-scale building construction projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use developments, delivering finishing works to the highest quality standards while keeping project schedules and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate architectural and finishing works such as blockwork, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, painting, tiling, marble, grouting, ceilings and joinery.
• Monitor daily site activities so that work follows approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Lead and manage the site workforce, subcontractors and trade foremen to reach planned targets.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, MEP teams and Construction Managers.
• Inspect regularly to ensure quality workmanship and compliance, identify defects, supervise snag rectification and close punch-list items on time.
• Support project completion, authority inspections and handover of units and common areas.
• Ensure materials, tools, equipment and manpower are available for schedule, maintain HSE compliance and track progress against milestones.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years as a Finishing Foreman on large-scale building projects.
• Strong experience in high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality or luxury villa developments.
• Knowledge of finishing trades, construction methods, quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Experience with snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning coordination and final handover.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and finishing drawings.
• Leadership, team management and coordination skills; GCC/UAE construction experience highly preferred.
