Senior Geospatial Analyst

About the role

Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation is looking for a Senior Geospatial Analyst to develop and manage the Barakah Geospatial Strategy, system and databases, support ENEC program GIS applications and take part in Barakah urban development and infrastructure projects. The role works with other enterprise functions to support the various functions of the Barakah site.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the formulation and implementation of the organization's Geospatial Strategy, including methodologies and operational plans, to support Barakah Master Planning and site infrastructure development.
• Manage the urban development and infrastructure data cycle (GIS, CAD, remote sensing, BIM) from collection through analysis and dissemination to stakeholders.
• Act as the geospatial focal point between internal stakeholders, external consultants and software vendors, ensuring spatial data and software integrate with ICT systems and security regulations.
• Perform geospatial production and analysis with GIS, CAD, BIM and remote sensing tools to support master planning and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical advice on urban development and infrastructure planning and align site infrastructure projects with the site master plan.
• Approve software and hardware processes, recommend new acquisitions and upgrades, and maintain data quality through documented procedures and data models.
• Follow HSE, security and business continuity requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geospatial Sciences or equivalent; preference for Civil Engineering, GIS or Information Systems.
• 7 to 15 years of experience.
• Experience working with government systems and regulatory bodies in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
