About the role
Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Senior GIS Specialist to lead GIS activities for a major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing spatial data, producing maps and visualisations, and ensuring data quality throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead GIS activities and oversee project delivery.
- Manage spatial data, mapping, and geodatabases.
- Prepare GIS maps, reports, and visualisations for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project teams and ensure compliance with GIS standards.
- Support GIS analysis and digital delivery initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Surveying, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of GIS experience, including senior or lead roles.
- Previous experience on major infrastructure projects in the UAE is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Suite.
- Experience in spatial data management, mapping and geospatial analysis.
