Senior Global Operations Manager – Distributed Cloud

About the role

The Senior Global Operations Manager will lead Distributed Cloud data‑center operations across multiple sites worldwide. Reporting to senior leadership, you will integrate team performance, capacity analysis and operational metrics into the broader business strategy while ensuring world‑class standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data‑center site operations for a global portfolio of enterprise customers, coordinating with Oracle’s Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Microsoft, Google) on issues, expansions and lifecycle management.
• Define, monitor and communicate operational KPIs, set goals for the global team and ensure compliance reporting for DRCC/Alloy customers.
• Act as the global escalation point for critical operational and customer incidents, driving cross‑functional resolution and risk mitigation.
• Support new region builds and expansion projects, collaborating with project and engineering teams to meet capacity and quality standards.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, inventory and logistics, enforcing Oracle standards and implementing advanced maintenance strategies.

Required profile

• Experienced people manager who is highly service‑oriented, customer‑facing, reliable, self‑motivated and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers, employees and senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• OCI and Cloud Computing concepts (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• Data‑centre infrastructure knowledge – power, cooling, structured cabling, connectivity.
• IT Service Management disciplines – Problem Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Knowledge Management.
• Lean methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Experience leading geographically distributed operations teams.
