Senior Go Developer

About the role

Andersen Lab is seeking a Senior Go Developer to join a project building a global digital platform for the insurance and assistance industry. You will work on a real‑time cross‑selling platform that powers multiple user‑facing applications and integrates with core insurance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve a gRPC‑based microservice architecture supporting real‑time data flows.
• Create and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for integration with insurance platforms, risk scoring, KYC, and payment services.
• Model and manage transactional data in PostgreSQL, including policies, claims, and audit trails.
• Implement event‑driven workflows using RabbitMQ or Kafka for claims processing and policy updates.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, focusing on monetary calculations and premium accuracy.
• Instrument services with Grafana and Prometheus for proactive monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure scalability, availability, and resilience.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a backend developer building large‑scale, high‑performance systems.
• Strong understanding of insurance or financial domain concepts is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
