Senior Implementation Officer (Transaction Banking)

About the role

The Transaction Banking Services (TBS) unit of a UAE bank covers Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management and Payment Solutions, serving corporate and institutional clients. As Senior Implementation Officer you will manage the technical implementation of electronic channels (Web, Host2Host, API banking, mobile apps), ICCS, Liquidity Management Service, Corporate Cheque Printing and Trade online, ensuring service delivery meets customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and integrate electronic channels, Host2Host (Connect Direct, SFTP), API banking, ICCS, SWIFT for Corporates, Liquidity Management Service and Trade online for corporate and institutional clients.
• Handle UAE central bank products such as UAEFTS, UAEWPS, local authority pension payments and UAEDDS.
• Understand client payment requirements, file formats (CSV, XML, ISO 22000 pain), transmission testing, file mapping, file testing and PGP encryption; know client ERPs and their payment file generation processes.
• Visit C&IB clients for implementation and training, support the Solutioning team on technical presentations and RFPs, and advise CEOs, Treasurers and IT managers.
• Follow up on product usage, own each assigned customer's implementation and live transactions, and coordinate with the Product team, Relationship Managers and Solutioning team.
• Complete Cash Management implementations on agreed timelines, respond to queries within one working day, escalate critical issues promptly and maintain daily, weekly and monthly dashboards and MIS reports.
• Deliver training on Cash Management and Trade online channels.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree; professional diploma, graduation or postgraduation in information technology is essential.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in banking, customer-facing roles, technical implementation and customer service in Cash Management and Trade under Transaction Banking.
• Ability to give presentations and training, discuss system integration and file formats, and develop and train team members.

Required skills

• Integration of online channels with customer accounts payable and receivable systems.
• Host2Host file delivery (Connect Direct, SFTP), API banking, ICCS and SWIFT for Corporates.
• Payment file formats (CSV, XML, ISO 22000 pain 03), transmission testing, file mapping, file testing and encryption (RSA, PGP).
• Sound knowledge of IT, application integration, networks, security and operating systems.
