Senior Interior Designer / Interior Architect

About the role

Atmos Design Studio, based on the 20-year legacy of Caspaiou Design & Interiors, creates bespoke, design-led interiors and is looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer / Interior Architect to join its Design team. The role suits a designer with a strong luxury residential background who can independently drive projects from concept through design development and delivery, developing concepts, layouts, materials, FF&E and key details personally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead luxury residential projects independently from concept through design development and delivery
• Develop design concepts, space planning, layouts, materials, FF&E and key design details
• Produce high-quality 2D designs and 3D models to communicate design intent
• Create mood boards, material palettes, finishes, furniture selections and FF&E concepts
• Prepare and lead client presentations and design discussions
• Translate approved concepts into detailed, coordinated, buildable solutions
• Manage client requirements, feedback, approvals and project timelines
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Visit sites, resolve design issues and support installations, snagging and final delivery
• Mentor and support junior team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field
• 7-9 years of relevant experience, with strong experience in luxury residential interiors
• A strong luxury residential portfolio showing projects personally developed by the candidate
• Proven experience owning projects from concept through client presentations and delivery
• Confident client-facing and presentation skills
• Hands-on, able to work at pace on multiple fast-moving projects

Required skills

• Conceptual design, space planning, layout and 2D design
• Strong 3D modelling and visualization
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E and interior design development
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Project management, coordination and problem-solving
